Zernez National Park Center
The National Park Visitor Centre in Zernez, Engadin, is well worth a visit. We are open all day during the high season in summer and autumn, while reduced opening hours apply in winter. Please note that there is a charge for entry to the exhibition rooms and dogs are not allowed in these areas. For more information, take a look at our menu items or our flyer.
The many facets of the national park are presented in four exhibition rooms. Guests experience the park's strictly protected natural processes first hand. At interactive stations, they have the opportunity to take on the role of researchers themselves. Lively presentations illuminate important moments in the history of Switzerland's only national park. The entire exhibition is permeated by the question of personal attitudes to the wilderness and culminates in an unexpected finale.
Other features of the exhibition include:
A media guide in five languages (German, French, Italian, Romansh, English)
A radio play with the characters Furbina and Ratsch, specially designed for younger visitors
Play stations that are specially designed for smaller children
Visitors can experience the untouched nature and the essence of the national park in its purest form.
